ALPHABET SOUP LAUNCHES VEGA BURSARY

Last week Alphabet Soup announced that they would be launching the Alphabet Soup Media Bursary. The bursary would be awarded to any student who is presently doing the part-time media course at the Vega School of Brand Communication. The course The Principles and Practice of Media Efficiency in Building Brands commenced on the 1st semester of 2004.

Type of student who will qualify:
•An individual who understands basic business principles
•An individual who understands the brief, the media objectives and who delivers a strategy based on ROI
•An individual who has unique feasible ideas and delivers a sold strategy that can be implemented
•An individual who is passionate about media and has a positive, creative attitude towards their long-term career objectives
•The individual must have a total percentage on the following:
•Individual Document: 65% and above
•Exam: 50% and above
•The individual will receive either a bursary based on the cost of the media course to put towards further studies at Vega or a cheque to the value of the Vega Media Course
•Only part-time students qualify

Funds for the Alphabet Soup bursary were raised at their Golf Day at the end of 2003, where clients and media owners were invited to spend the day. The overall lucky winner was Dave Frankel from Oracle Airtime Sales.
